Set the highest discount allowed on each product or product category, and the lowest price a product may be sold at: its cost plus a minimum margin. Sales order lines that break a rule cannot be saved, whoever saves them and however they are saved, unless the user has the right to exceed the limits.

- Maximum discount per product — Set a maximum discount (%) on the product. 0 uses the limit of its category.
- Maximum discount per category — One limit for all the products of a category that have no limit of their own.
- Minimum price above cost — The net unit price of a line (after discounts, without taxes) must cover the cost plus a minimum margin set on the product or the category.
- Discount of the whole order counted — A global discount or fixed amount added with the Discount button of the quotation counts on every product line.
- Warning while typing, refusal on save — The salesperson sees a warning as soon as a line breaks a rule; the order cannot be saved until it is fixed.
- Checked on the server — Imports, API calls, pricelist updates and copied orders are checked like the order form.
- Exceptions by right — Only users given the Exceed Discount and Price Limits right may go beyond the limits.
