Enter the date on which a receipt, delivery or internal transfer really happened, then validate it as usual. The transfer is recorded on that date instead of the moment you clicked Validate: its effective date, its stock moves and move lines, the incoming date of the received stock and the stock journal entry Odoo creates for it. Dates in the future, in a locked accounting period or before the last stock valuation closing are refused.
Odoo itself lets Inventory Administrators correct the Effective Date of a transfer after it is done (unlock, then edit the date). This module sets the date before validation, in one step, and also dates the move lines, the journal entry and the incoming date of the stock, with an audit trail.
